Our Firm Our Firm MTW group provides comprehensive landscape architectural and planning services throughout California's Central Valley. Each principal and each member of the support staff are committed to "helping clients, communities and individuals create humane spaces with expertise, understanding and sensitivity." This commitment ensures that the firm's design process promotes its philosophy and intent to be an integral part of the whole planning and architectural team and its efforts to create humane spaces that complement and enhance the   fabric of the surrounding community. MTW group works with clients applying for CHPS and/or LEED certification, offering design possibilities such as the use of reclaimed water and native and/or drought-tolerant plant materials to minimize potable water needs; roof gardens to minimize water runoff into drainage structures; pervious pavement to return watershed to the earth; bio-swales to filter runoff for use in water features; local, recycled landscape materials to reduce waste, etc.     Structure With roots going back to 1965, the firm was incorporated in 1989 and, in 1999, emerged as MTW group. Possessing a wealth of experience in a small firm environment, MTW group offers strong internal   communications and team efforts, with personal, complete involvement from start to finish by expert professional staff. Each project is designed by a licensed Landscape Architect who is supported by the expert recommendations and criticisms of his colleagues and by proficient technical and office personnel.     Principals The principals of MTWgroup have been associated for many years and have developed a strong rapport based on their various areas of expertise. Clarence D. Mamuyac, Sr., a principal since 1989, has been with the firm since 1972 and offers his leadership in business operations and his expertise in contract documents and construction administration; Sab Takehara (retired) began with the firm in 1970 and, after retirement in 2010, offers his continuing leadership as a   consultant and member of the board;Andrzej J. Woroniecki, a principal since 1999, has been with the firm since 1990 and offers his experience in design and graphic presentation. Peter D. Larimer, a principal since 2009, has been with the firm since 2003, and offers his field experience from prior employment as construction mangager. As a team, they yield their vitality and integrity to the field of landscape architecture.
